BTAM Investigations and ERPO's

  The BTAM Investigations and ERPO’s course will help law enforcement and threat management professionals to identify the tools associated with threat management investigations and how to properly use them. This course will provide an overview of best practices for a proactive approach to identifying possible threats, explore search warrants and subpoenas, effective interview techniques, management techniques to keep the individual(s) off the pathway to violence, identify best practices for extreme risk protection orders (ERPO), and the use of technology to enhance the BTAM efforts from the time the tip was received to the application of mitigation efforts. This course is a one stop shop for those actively attached or entering the threat management world. This course is interactive and taught through a combination of lecture and class participation.
