Human Trafficking

 The Human Trafficking Investigations course will take a path from learning the indicators of human trafficking, through investigative techniques, and finally preparation for prosecution. The course will provide insight into trauma informed interview techniques and victim centered approach to investigations while still effectively investigating the possible violation will be the goal of educating how not to re-victimize the survivors involved in the case. This course dives into both sex trafficking and labor trafficking investigations and the latest best practices for investigations. The course is taught through lecture and open participation in discussion.
