Threat Management Investigative Strategies

Threat Management Investigative Strategies introduces the key elements associated with behavioral threat management (BTAM). The course will identify elements of BTAM, identify the elements of successful BTAM models, discuss national trends and approaches to threat management and mitigation, discuss proactive efforts to assist with prevention efforts, and provide case examples of effective practices as well as some that could have been handled better. This course is not a lecture-based class but rather an interactive period of instruction. Throughout the class, the students will participate in discussion of available resources in their organizations, walk through interactive tabletop exercises, and identify from the beginning of the class what the attendees are looking to get out of the course. This course is applicable to all levels of threat management, from well-established teams to those looking to create or enhance their current teams.
